Default Tonight's Dinner, 8/24/2020


I picked up a really nice looking pork butt Tuesday at Wally World along
with a can of kraut. I'm not sure what I was thinking but that can was
not enough so a bag of refrigerated kraut supplemented the can. Yesterday
I browned the meat on all sides, added the kraut, a couple of dashes of
seasoned salt, and lots of caraway seed. Not sure how it will taste but
also threw in some baby carrots to get rid of them.

This morning I took it out of the refrigerator and added apple juice and
it is now slow cooking in the Ninja Foodi. This will be served with
squash, sliced tomatoes, and a skillet of cornbread.
