....and I had a completely unexpected result! When I connected this Canon digital camera to my MacinSLUT as I call my Macbook Pro I could not easily intuitively manipulate the files I know pics are from my MacinSLUT. But when I connected the camera to my no longer supported WinXP Pro I merely went to Start/My Computer and when connected I saw the camera icon pop in, clicked on it and there were the files! Easily manipulated as the files they are!

And THAT is why I call my Windows XP Pro computer a REAL computer and my MacinSLUT a TOY computer! ;-)
