8 1/2 lbs is plenty for ten peaple.
For Christmas I'm going to roast a 7lb butt half smaked ham. It won't
all be eaten, most will be frozen for another meal, or two....
probably one other meal and the rest for pea soup. We like ham and
eggs but not bacon... we both detest bacon.
