My dishwasher is a Bosch... 10 or more years old. I haven't
EVER used Full Cycle in the entire time I've owned it. I
always use "air dry". It dries as long as you keep the door
closed, but it has an annoying "beep" that forces you to
open the door just to turn the danged sound off. Once
you've opened the door, it's all over (nothing dries
properly if you close it again) - so you have to finish
drying with the door open.

I don't have a problem with plastic drying, in any case...
maybe someone is forgetting their Jet Dry???
