I sometimes rented a house to people with teenage girls and they
complained when the tub wouldn't drain. I called a plumber and he
said it was stuffed with hair and the hair catching screen was gone. I
gave the tenant a choice, pay the plumber or vacate. Hair catching
screens are easy to clean with a paper towel.
We have one long haired cat who likes to sleep in the tub, we need to
clean that screen about every day.
