My drinking glasses are very thin. If you look up how to get broken glass
out of a disposal, it will tell you to remove as much as possible and grind
the rest down. You can't do this with the thick stuff though. The problem is
that bits get stuck in the blades. The only way to free them is to loosen
them from underneath then turn the disposal to loosen the blades.You can
then try to pick out pieces and you'll likely have to repeat the process but
at least a little glass will get down.
