Anything out of a jar is not good. The curry paste really needs to be
made from scratch. You can make a nice green curry in the West, but
it's very difficult to find all the authentic ingredients, such as the
eggplant:

IMO, don't even bother unless you can source some fresh kaffir lime
leaves. They really make the dish.
