I do believe that would account for it, barbie gee. A 40 year
difference and a bunch of franchise operations. Can't paint them all
with one brush.
I doubt I've ever tasted the *original* recipe seasonings for KFC fried
chicken. Then again, it's been at least 25 years since I went to KFC
and ordered that 2 piece meal deal. I ordered mine with mashed
potatoes, gravy and a biscuit. Not french fries. The chicken was salty,
sure. I thought that's what KFC pressure-fried chicken was supposed to
taste like.
I'm not interested in going to KFC. I bake some really nice chicken.
Crispy, not overly salted. Not brined, either. It's all in the seasonings.
