It is a balancing act for people who use social media. Both the kayak
club and the art festival that I am involved with use social media as a
form of advertising, along with a web site and other forms of
advertising. The art festival did a survey of those who attended and a
lot of them heard about it on FaceBook. Unfortunately, you have to have
some control over comments because, just like this forum, there are some
who post here just to be a pain in the ass.
