Most coffee drinkers are serious about coffee in the way that junkies are serious about heroin. We get a little cranky if we don't get our fix. When we were in the UK, we found out that the Brits aren't very serious about their coffee drinking. They didn't provide coffee machines in the places we were staying so we drank a lot of instant coffee. Praise the Lord for instant coffee! My brother-in-law and I would be drinking that stuff in the morning while looking at maps and planning the day. You can bet your ass we was serious coffee drinkers.
