I plant garlic in the fall for harvest in June or July. That's when
it's ready.

I've got a basil plant under the halogen lights on my range hood. I
buy parsley and green onions; I usually have them on hand all the time.
I used to grow tomatoes, but I had too much trouble with blossom-end rot,
mosaic virus and other diseases.
