True. I can't imagine rhubarb being killed off by hail, unless the
stones were the size of soccer balls. It is pretty hardy stuff. I
realize that some places in the US get hail way bigger than anything we
see. Around here is is rarely any bigger than the size of a lentil. It
doesn't do much harm to plants and fruit trees. It just damages the soft
fruit on them.
