At the risk of placing my nose where it doesn't belong, I would suggest that
it would be better for the UK to leave the EU. The UK would be as divided as
the US if this does not occur. In our case, it won't last very long but in
your case, the doubts and resentments and questions about "what if" could be
prolonged. 50 - 60 years? Well that's just what I've been seeing in my
crystal ball.
