There's nothing ironic about it. Institutions with either a monetary or
religious incentive always perform better than a government run one.
The key is incentive. Money and belief trump government every time. It
is always a present danger to socialists.
[ObFood] Leftover chicken, noodle and vegetable stew with bread and
butter. The whole chicken cost $3.27 which is cheap where I shop. I
just (Right now!) decided to curry the hindquarters for myself. My wife
won't touch it.
