Yup, same here but we use the fireplace to augment.

Tonight windchill (per radio) is 20F. Something like -6C would be
close. Due to a trip elsewhere, fireplace was lit off at 3pm so not
optimal (brick not radiating heat to the levels needed for much) but
HVAC only kicking in for a 5 min or so per hour.
