I buy Heinz white vinegar in gallon jugs, 5%, works fine for me. I
mostly use vinegar for cleaning, for culinary use I mostly
use fresh squeezed lemon/lime juice. I much prefer citrus juice for
salad dressings.
Vinegar is far safer than bleach for disinfecting cutting boards... I
don't want to inhale chlorine fumes. I disinfect counter tops with
vinegar. Cholorine fumes are deadly to eyes and lungs.
