Very nice, this is basically what I did. Wednesday I volunteered at a T-Day dinner, so I was all tuckered out. Despite several invites I dined in splendid isolation, my vittles were similar to yours but I had a pork roast in lieu of turkey, and PECAN pie, natch...
I got a lot of my online holiday shopping outta the way early, then food, and then I watched some movies, the original 1953 "War of the Worlds" and the classic Dickens "Great Expectations" (the SPLENDID 1946 David Lean version)...a nap and then watched "Laura" and "The Long Hot Summer"...
Today I'll run around and see some peeps, and this weekend I've an invite to a dinner, so this has been a fine holiday for me...and leftovers to last the weekend.
