Yes, pretty chilly for November, dropped to 10ºF today, 11ºF now.
Only thing is I'm getting too old for this, I'm going to have to learn
how to cook for just two. At the market looking for a turkey I was
actually thinking if one would be enough, and should I do hams too. I
still can't get over having to prepare holiday meals for a crew of 400
plus all the guests. My wife tells me I should have opened an eatery
on the main drag here where all the contractors pass, I'd clean up,
With hearty soups, stews, and fresh baked bread I'd sell out every
day. If only I were 40 years younger. I propositioned our DIL who
likes to cook that I'd set her up and show her the ropes but like most
young folks she's lazy... she'd rather text all day than chop veggies
and ring the cash register.
