I would rather have a real Greek salad that any lettuce salad. I cringe
thinking back to the times I naively ordered Greek salads and they came
withe lettuce in them. There is not enough lettuce in a Nicoise salad
to be a problem, or to be missed.

Maybe I should be paying closer attention to the story, but I am
assuming that, rather than being some sort of epidemic, it is only a
small number of acres or farms affected. There would not be time to
check them all, so they will chuck it all rather than take a chance of
facing a huge lawsuit.
