I am a writer. I write on and off. There were a great many years after I was
married that I wrote nothing. I simply didn't have the time or inspiration.
Now I do. I am writing again. I will post some of my poems at the end. Was
trying to post them here but they are not displaying properly. Probably due
to different versions of Word. I will pick short ones. The one about Baklava
won the USA Today Haiku contest.

I did post of my now ex husband stopping for Pho on the way home without
telling me. But you seemed to think this was an every day occurrence. He's
my ex. There are reasons he's my ex. Not going to get into that here.

It's not me twisting things Dave.

ALL IS NEW

Let us regale in laughter.

Savor the colors of the world.

Permeate our senses with texture.

Breathe in all the aromas of life.

There are no boundaries.

CAT

Tail flicking, she waits.

Butterfly try, fly away!

One pounce, one gulp, gone!

Crispy

Thin and frangible

Crispy shards tickle the tongue

Luscious Baklava.

EUPHONY

Your voice sends shivers up my spine;

so soft, so calm, and deep.

Words flow with a smooth sexiness.

So tell me a story, and I shall recline,

and luxuriate.

GOLDEN ORB

Why do you tease me this way?

I have wanted to see your for days;

And when I finally see your smiling face,

I am overcome with joy.

I bare my body and anoint it with oil.

My skin glisten in your rays.

I nestle in the damp earth,

Among the sweet clovers and buttercups,

Longing to feel your warm embrace.

You touch me for a brief moment,

But then youre gone.

I am left shivering in the cool breeze,

Under a cloudy sky,

With the threat of raindrops.
