My youngest brother still whines about the time he was not allowed to go
out trick or treating on Halloween because he would not eat his peas. I
was sitting there wondering what the hell his problem was that he would
not eat them. I always liked them. I would eat them fresh, frozen or
even canned. Yellow split peas make incredible soup.
