While this isn't what you're looking for, I put my dish brushes in the dishwasher.

Now, does anyone know how to get those bits of lint out of a hairbrush? (I already tried the vacuum cleaner - no good.) All I can do is keep using the comb to take out the hair in the brush, which removes some lint - but not at the roots.
