I made bean with bacon soup. I did cut back on the bacon. One pound seemed
excessive. Also added to carrots. Yum! Roasted Delicata squash and roasted
fennel. Normally I love fennel but this batch had an overwhelming licorice
taste which is too much for me. Normally it has a sweet taste with a hint of
licorice. Weird because I made it the same as always. Also corn muffins. The
recipe was vegan but I used honey instead of maple syrup so not vegan.
They're good but slightly dry. Will add a touch more oil next time.
