Well, I didn't make it yesterday, but I made it. this morning.

It's more of an apple tart cake, what with the custard base made with
flour. I used stoneground flour and apricot-pineapple jam, as that is
what I had.

Meh!

Not great ....barely passable.... but that's what I get fer using almost
expired flour and totally old apricot-pineapple jam (fer Jezebel Sauce).

Would I recommend it? No, But, at least I tried it and it IS easy on
my rotten tooth (IOW, "soft").
