Yes, I really did want to know, and it's a perfectly legitimate question
for a cooking group. I also have a bit of concern about it, since it
appears to be like cresote. But I have to admit that I have never been
to any newsgroup with as many assholes as there are on this one.

Thanks to those of you who added some useful content. I did jot down the
weblink to the Wiki article. I do not have access to the web, unless I
go to a WIFI. I will have to wait till I get to one. The newsgroups used
to help people long before the web existed, but those days are long
gone. I guess the newsgroups are just for the most rude assholes to
relieve their mental illnesses now.
