Default Plastic ice-cube trays

I've got some plastic ice-cube trays I bought from WW, a few yrs ago
(Rubbermaid). They've developed a bad habit of the cubes leaving
"sediment" in the bottom of my water glass. I'm sure it's minor
calcium/lime deposits from the water. Anyone have a method of
"de-calcifying" sed trays?

Will white vinegar work? TIA
