Too late!

Asparagus grows in the early Spring (Mar-Apr). Perhaps you are thinking
"imported". With gas prices climbing, again, I suspect "bargain
asparagus" is a thing of the past. The cheapest I ever saw it, this yr,
was $2.19 (non-organic) about 2-3 mos ago.
