Except in very extreme cases, there is no need for medical pot. As for "recreational" use, in the workforce development field we call pot "the unemployment drug"...and YES, it is most definitely a "gateway" drug.

Colorado has been flooded with huge numbers of homeless, they can move to CO and get a Medicaid scrip for free pot, I mean, what is not to lose?

So, another lovely place is on the road to ruin...
