I have heard in this group about these bags of chicken quarters for
years, The stores I shop around here have never had them.
Unfrozen whole chicken, in a 2-pack, is always 99 cents per pound. The
legs, thighs and breast can be purchased unfrozen in 'family packs'.
These are the parts that can be very expensive and can go on sale for
99 cents for thighs or drums, breast for $1.19. Hardly ever see the
wings on sale, they're almost always at about $2.49/pound.
