My neighbor gifted me with a delicious small homemade loaf of banana nut
bread. Very tasty! At the same time she asked if she could "borrow" a
stick of butter. (Good thing I keep a stock of butter in the freezer,
she never seems to have any!) When she rang the bell she had the
wrapped banana bread in one hand and a measuring cup in the other. Oh,
do you have any sugar? Yes, and no. I gave her (yet another) stick of
butter. Sorry, no sugar. I only buy small quantities of sugar and
that's for the hummingbird feeder.

It was really good banana nut bread! Probably made using the other
stick of butter she'd "borrowed".
