Cars were certainly goofy back then. I used to have a 65 Nova back in the day. Coasting down the mountain would cause oil to pool up inside the cylinders. Accelerating at the bottom would cause a trail of blue smoke to mark our path for about a mile. It was okay to do stuff like that back in the early 70's. Going up the mountain, I had to worry about the radiator losing all its water. That car was always an adventure but it made me who I am today.. I feel sorry for all those kids today with nice, reliable, cars.

That Ford Cortina's twin accent lines that meet up front and round tail lights reminds me of a 62 Rambler American. The Cortina's rear end had a much more finished, complete, treatment. The rear on the Rambler looks fairly uninspired. That's the breaks.
