Didn't Julia Childs do her first few shows in her actual kitchen?
It is remotely possible that Ray has the kitchen in her home equiped
as a TV studio. Highly doubtfull but possible.

No problem. Fireball XL5, Supercar, Stingray and Thunderbirds puppet
shows were originally produced in Canada. It was a conspiracy I say.
The folks north of the border listened to their national anthem, listened
to our national anthem, and concluded they could sell us unlimited low
quality stuff like TV shows. Then someone goes and moves the production
studios for Stargate: SG1 to Vancouver and some good beer sneaks across
the border, too. ;^)
