Yes there undoubtedly IS because my cheap Chinese landlord paid a stupid cheap local "handiman" (and I use the term loosely as once I was watching him load masonry caulk into his caulking gun, looked down the barrel squeezed the handle and got a shot of masonry caulk in his eyes!) goop from a 5 gallon bucket thick black roofing goop all over a bunch of the beautiful red clay 1/2 pipe current roofing tiles! The ****ers!

That's why I have an appt with Beal Roofing for next week Thurs July 20 to get an estimate on repair and restoration.

You don't understand. I assured all my other housemates that I wanted for them as little to change for them and certainly nothing negative, only positive changes, Like a fully functioning A/C system, etc!
