Oh Barb those skins were SO thin and sheer...kinda like Katra's sheer baby
doll nightie that she peels off for her virile hubby each night...

Man I had not cooked beets for a long long time...the lil' buggers certainly
have a lot of "color" to bleed out...it's no wonder beets were one of the
original Rit dyes...
