Mostly it's the disdain of the new world. They deny smartphones, social media, web-based computing, web-based storage. They'll insist that the proper NG reader is one created during the dark ages of computers, they distrust Google and Google Groups, they just can't let go of their Windows operating systems but are afraid of Win10.

They believe that someone is interested in stealing their precious, precious, data/files. They don't want to release any information about themselves yet complain about not being able to access all that the web has to offer. In the new connected world, you don't get everything without giving up something. Don't even get me started on electric and self-driving cars!
