The reason we hate the tilapia has little to do with the taste. Tilapia is found everywhere in stinkin' waters and they have taken over our overland waterways, displacing our native species. The very idea of eating one of these nasty, dirty, fishes is revolving. That said, I wholeheartedly encourage people on the mainland to eat tilapia because they're a wonderfully sustainable fish and because the only good tilapia is a dead tilapia.
