I spent about $15 on Gladware, about 20 plastic containers. They work
great. Perfect seal each time, reusable. After over a year some of the
lids are cracking after repeated trips through the dishwasher, but I got
my money's worth.

For those times food won't fit in the Gladware, a plateful of food
wrapped in foil works great.
