Comfort food
I think we had a season change this weekend. On Friday afternoon a
friend and I went for a nice motorcycle ride around the peninsula.
Yesterday I woke up to +14C (57F) and by 3 pm it was raining and only 3C
(37F). This morning I woke up and saw snow on the ground. Yesterday
afternoon I picked up a small ham hock and used it to make a batch of
French Canadian pea soup. I had about half a quart of milk that was
getting close to expiry so I made a batch of tapioca pudding to use that
up.
