It makes a wonderful Rose, I make it every few years. It has a great
perfume quality about it. I get it off the skins within a few hours.

That blend is pretty common in the Rhone Valley of France. It really
blends well with Syrah, but I would not be concerned blending it with
anything. My Syrah comes from the central valley. It needs only a
year or so to develop so that's not a compelling need in my case.
