When I took Persia to the vet for her final trip I cried my eyes out.
Just as I was leaving the sky fell out. A deluge of rain to accompany a
deluge of tears. I sat in the car for a while with the empty carrier.
I waited until the rain slacked up but I still cried all the way home.
