Do I recall that she used to belong to a CSA? Where did those
boxes of produce come from, I wonder? Had to be a farm.
I'm willing to believe there aren't any farm stands in her
usual orbit, that she's unwilling to leave her usual orbit to
find them, and that she'd rather complain on Usenet about
crappy produce in her local grocery stores than put forth the
effort (time and/or money) required to obtain good produce.
I sometimes get lackluster lettuce at my usual grocery, but I
don't feel obliged to tell people halfway around the world that
it was unsatisfactory.
