There was also green beans and proportionally a lot of celery and onion.
When I cook stuff like this, I make sure to put in more of the non starchy
stuff than anything else. It was a very big pot of stew. There is still
some left and we ate it two days in a row. The chicken was a family pack.

I have learned that at least for me, the eye appeal of the food is as
important as the other aspects. If I can look in the bowl and see a couple
of peas, a corn kernel, a potato chunk, it's all good. Doesn't have to be a
lot of that stuff in there. As long as my eye can see it, I am happy.
