They break down the LDL into the good stuff and the bad stuff these
days. Apparently it's easier to reduce the bad than it is the raise
the good. At least that's the way it works for my husband. The
reading for his Bad is always good, but his Good is always bad - if
that makes any sense. His Good was finally a tic away from the
dividing line on the last test. He was at 39 and it's supposed to be
40 or above.
