Tony, the roast I have is much too large for a slow cooker. By the way,
I tossed out my two "slow" cookers (crock pots) a few years ago.
Apparently, the newer models (the brands manufactured after the late
1970s) tend to get too hot, actually boiling the food rather than
simmering it. I did some searching and discovered that my supposition
is right on. The federal government, concerned about "food safety,"
required all manufacturers to raise crock pot cooking temperature back
in the 70s. So, in my opinion, slow cookers have since passed into that
darkened realm where no mortal shall follow. Into the vast unknown.
Furthermore, this entire botchery, what we might call "A Load of Crock,"
demonstrates nicely how the federal government ****s up everything for
everybody, while getting paid to **** things up.

CONCLUSION: VOTE FOR TRUMP. PUT THOSE ****ING FEDS BACK WHERE THEY
BELONG AND OUT OF OUR PERSONAL BUSINESS!
