I tried these some years ago. Can't remember the brand or where I got them
but they were just meh. At the time I likened them to nuts that were trying
to be pecans but failed. Very expensive things.
But I happened upon them again at Nuts.com and people said they were the
best. I will say that these do taste better but IMO do not warrant the
price. I suppose if I lived where they grew and had a tree of them, I would
eat them. But I will not go out of my way for them again. They do taste
slightly like a pecan but pecans are better.
I am not sure why they are called peanuts. They are not and to me they do
not like like a peanut except for being about the same size and roughly the
same shape. Certainly not the same color or texture. They are supposed to
have more nutrients. I think I'll pass.
