And that's the problem. Although it is a little less straw like than an air
popper. I don't mind it that way but prefer oil and salt. When I popped it
like that I wound up using a butter flavored spray to get the salt to stick.
I quickly realized that I was using about half a can each time. Trying to
add melted butter just won't work. Some kernels will suck it all up and get
soggy while others remain dry. And salt won't stick unless you put some
sort of fat on it.
