Don't worry, only 1/2 the houses will have it on. Mine will be one of
them but that's Don in the converted garage.

I do actually appreciate that day when he has friends over as I can
make various munchies and even tailor to diets some may need. This
year it will be Art (age 83), Don (65), Ben (29) and Sarah (21). Quite
the difference! Also as you look at the list, Charlotte and I wil also
be eating our share.

Ben and Sarah are vegetarians sort of as they eat seafood only for
meats and Ben is lactose intolerant but both do eggs. They do not mind
if a deep fry oil was used for a meat item before a veggie item. Art
is Jewish and doesn't do pork (but other than that, he's pretty much
into anything including shrimp).

Beef chile with beans on the side (meatless but very flavorful with 4
types of white beans and garlic plus mushrooms, basically cassolet but
not classic). The beef chile is added by those who want to add beef to
the beans.

Wrappers - add beef chile and may add beans if wanted. Cheese on the
side in both grated and a small crockpot with melted. Slivered raw
onions at the ready.

A deep flavored dashi with curry made to a thick gravy and in a warmer.
Used to dip 'whatever'. This one is slightly sweet in a korean type of
way.

Rice balls filled with various things (Purple topping is vegetarian
ones with veggie fillings, green seaweed topped ones are seafood,
rolled in black sesame seed with fruit filling).

Home made fries in batches as the game goes along, they work well
topped with the beef chili and/or the cheese (melted best), dipped if
desired in the curry or just as they are.

Hot popcorn made with coconut oil delivered every hour or so, uses sea
salt and a light dusting of black and white pepper.

15lbs shrimp, 7 of it to be peeled and eaten cold after simmering in
Namya Curry Paste and Coconut milk. 8lbs left at the ready if they
want more ;-)

2 pizzas, 12 inch or so each and as thin as I can work the dough,
dressed with a blend of 8 garlic cloves blendered with olive oil then
slivered red and sweet onions sweated briefly to translucent in the
same oil/garlic mix as a topping. Cooked to crispy and served just as
is, cut to strips.

Crusty deep fried dill pickle spears in an almost tempura type of
crust. These have to be fixed at the time so depends on how the other
food goes.

Lots of bags of chips ;-)
