No, I am NOT an idiot!! You are correct that multiple A/C power outlets in a room MAY not be on the same circuit, but probably not. Home builder electrical contractors are NOT EE's or electical geniuses like Nikola Tesla. And yes, building codes, etc. Yean yeah yeah, they are skirted all the time!!
