It was. It was purchased around 1951 and was still going
strong until she had to go in the nursing home.

When I moved away from home I burned several pans of food
until I got the hang of an electric stove. Going back to
a gas range was a bit of an adjustment as well. I had to
get used to that instant response from the burners. But
it was sorta like riding a bicycle; it all came back to
me.
