I have to hear it because I need to know what she is doing. I would never
use closed captioning even if I did have it. For one thing, I can't see
well enough without my glasses on to see words on the screen. And I rarely
wear my glasses at home. For another, I rarely really watch any show. I
have the TV on and I listen to it, only looking at the screen once in a
while.
